Easter at our house is a little mad! The kids get up in the morning, real early as I'm sure they do everywhere, to go on the annual Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter bunny runs late at our house, and according to the kids it's because our dog will eat the eggs if we are not up, so we close the blinds and wait for him to delivery the eggs while we eat our breakfast!
The kids get so excited once we discover that he has been and run out there with their basket to collect them all.
It's such a joy to see how much fun they are having, and it has never been a contest to see who finds the most as we have 1 basket they all go into and are then shared out. I just love getting caught up with all the excitement, and encouraging their belief in this magical and generous creature, which they all believe in whole heartedly.
Once they have been collected comes the fun of eating them! We tell jokes and sit on the grass to enjoy them, while I get some happy snaps of them being, well them!
