A baby is born with the need to be loved
and never outgrows it.
I am often asked about taking photos of babies who are hard to settle. Well sometimes the gorgeous babies I have in for photo shoots suffer from reflux or other things that make them harder to settle. All four of my own babies suffered severe silent reflux so I feel I am a bit of an expert of the topic!
In these instances The poor little bubs are in pain and not wanting to be posed for photos, not to mention they don't get into a deep sleep as the pain wakes them up. They also don't ball up but instead are always stretched and more rigid.
I have worked with many babies like this (yes, I had my own to practice on), and I just go with the cues they are giving me. We still get just beautiful images for them and their parents to cherish!
Please don't feel like you can't have beautiful photos of your baby if they are hard to settle. We will always find a way to work it out.
It just takes lots of cuddles, love and patience.
Meet this adorbale 4 week old little girl Deliylah. Not only is her name just beautiful but she is too! He session took a while with all the cuddles and settling but wow, I just love her gallery so far!
She has an adoring big brother who we also took some photos of. What a perfect little family.
