What an amazing time pregnancy is. Feeling your baby move and grow inside you. Watching your body change as the day you will get to meet your baby comes closer and closer. It is only 9 months, but what magic happens in those 9 months.
I was very honoured to have the opportunity to capture this amazing time for Krystina and her family. We decided on a location and time however in the days leading up to the shoot we had a massive heat wave here and the location we had chosen was closed due to fire risk. Instead of reschedualing the shoot as Krystina was very close to her due date (37 weeks), we decided on the Adelaide Botanical Gardens in the evening to help avoid to worst heat of the day. We ended up having the hottest day anywhere around the world!!! We persisted anyway and boy I'm glad we did!
The park was empty and we had the whole place to ourselves! The light was magical and Krystina was glowing!
I can not wait to meet her beautiful baby in a few weeks time when I will get to create more beaitful memories for them all.
